Very cute, kiddo! My dog treats me the same way. I’m good enough for her all day, but when ‘Dad’ hits the door? I’m dead in the water! 😉

Prior to having our daughter, our dog would do the same thing. As a puppy he would wait by the door once he heard my mates car.

Sometimes kids are like puppies. Any time one of the “pack” members who’s been away returns, they have to run as a group to the prodigal person, jump on them and greet them. Try not to take the thought-free abandonment personally…they’ll be back : – )
