Lifeproof For a Dad

Being a parent can bring some situations where your gadgets should be far away.

There are many messy situations where I as a Dad am thankful that my iPhone 5 is in a Lifeproof case and safe from the elements of parenting.

Here are a few situations where I am very happy that I as a parent have a case that protects my phone and keeps it in a capsule away from everything else:

When my daughter experiments

On occasions my daughter who is a toddler likes to create experiments from playing with water to in a blink of an eye pouring something in water that made it turn blue (we are still trying to figure out what made the water turn blue). At that moment when it comes time to clean and if you ran to assist your kid with your phone in hand and you place it in the wrong place it can easily be damaged by water.

Thankfully having the phone inside the Lifeproof allows me to drop my phone tend to my toddler without worrying about where I put my phone and if it will be damaged by the liquid.

Bathing our Toddler

On these same occasions I might have to step in and  bathe our toddler while I am waiting on a phone call. I can do both and at least let the person know it will take me a few minutes to call them back all this while I am bathing my toddler.

When Feeding my Daughter

Having my phone handy even when we are feeding our daughter and she is juggling various liquids because she feels independent enough to want to do most things.

Capturing Fun Moments

Thanks to Lucy and I having waterproof cases we are able to capture some pretty cool moments while having fun in the water.

No worries on dropping our phone or having a wave knock us over and damaging our phone.

The biggest seen benefit of the lifeproof is the collection of images we have from our experiences with our toddler near the water that itself gives the device a priceless value.

If your a parent and love taking video and pictures of your children at every great opportunity maybe having your phone with a Lifeproof will help you capture even those moments where the family is having fun around an area your phone might be at risk.

Overall I have used the lifeproof for the past 4+ months and I am very happy with it.
